The brand is "A. Manicone Liverpool, NY," and based on the tag & style, we're thinking this New York native was born sometime during the 1970s. Traditionally a formal menswear staple, we think having a velvet blazer is pretty much a MUST for any wardrobe and we really love this deep plum color too!

How We'd Wear It: You really can't go wrong with a velvet blazer - you can go for the less-is-more look, by pairing it with a thin turtleneck, or replacing it for a leather jacket to give your jeans & t-shirt look a little more edge without the overly punk rock feel.
